A Dreamer's Path to Achievement

12/31/2012

Picture
We design our life with specific goals, plans and actions for achievement. Yet, in a moment all can change. We are then left to ponder the question, “Have you chosen your life path, or has it chosen you?”

Even with the best laid plans there comes a time when our greatest achievement is to surrender to that which life has put in front of us. Surrender with a sense of acceptance not defeat.

Acceptance of the inevitable often leads us to our most profound achievements, left to discover a purpose that may have been buried deep within our spirit. Like the tides, achievement has an ebb and flow.

Our greatest achievements reside in the art of possibility. The possibility that regardless of what circumstances we find ourselves immersed in we maintain our beliefs, we continue to grow, learn and expand as a direct result of the situation.

Possibilities, like people, require nurturing and a place to grow. Our minds house all possibilities, but access to them calls for a particular kind of self-love and personal knowledge. Knowing how and when to call forth the possibilities of your day or your life is an art. There are no project plans, goal setting courses or prioritized lists that will teach us to reach into ourselves and elicit the possibilities of our being.

This is personal work; the personal work of self-care, both simultaneously powerful and fragile. Possibility must be cultivated until there is a strength that allows it to stand on its own.

No matter how much evidence we have that life is full of uncertainty there are those who do all they can to achieve constant certainty. It is the very uncertainty of life that has us love with intensity, live with passion and cherish the moments that may have passed unnoticed if each moment were guaranteed to be followed by the next. It is the uncertainty of life that pushes us to achieve and use our faith.

Uncertainty may well be the catalyst to become our greatest self, achieving that which we otherwise would not have. The stepping board to use our faith. It is that which allows the ordinary to become extraordinary, the average person a  dreamer with theire own ambitions absent of limits. A champ

A dreamer is one who understands that time is fleeting and life is rich with possibility. A dreamer vision first in their mind and heart long before they see thopes come into frution. We are all dreamers in one way or another. All we have to do is believe and never let our dreams die.

Have you ever given up on a dream because you've listened to that 'little voice' in your head that tells you that you 'can't do it' or 'what's the point?' That inner voice is the critic inside of everyone that causes many bright futures to come to a screaming halt. Just like the person who freaks out when obstacles come and runs with a stick, your inner person worries and frets over new challenges that arise, very often creating enough doubt to make you believe you can't do it, whatever it may be.

There are times when listening to your 'gut' comes in handy, but for the most part, what is perceived as a gut reaction is simply fear of failure or rejection before the event even takes place. How can you squelch your inner critic so that you can move on and build the business that you dream of?

Fear not, there are things you can do to began to transform the way you think. First, listen to your inner voice and make a list of what you hear, elaborating on how you feel about each. Second, choose to respond to what your critic tells you, but ignore the negative. Focus on thing that make you feel good. Third,  Remember to reaffirm your best qualities daily and you will 'reprogram' yourself to take your critic's suggestions as positive messages rather than constant negatives.  You must think about good things that have happened to you for this is the start of your manifestation. Think on Good Things!

There is a concept that is finding a huge following with those who desire to have their dreams come to pass. They simply desire to create a positive life of abundance. Although this idea is in no way new, the Law of Attraction is changing the lives of people in amazing ways. Whether you're a religious person or not, the basics are simple, you attract what you think. This theory too is another direction to follow for achieving your dreams  so let the postitive lead your life and stop focusing on the negative.  Think on Good Things!

Choosing to challenge your 'little voices' and change your negative thinking will have an impact on every aspect of your life, creating positive thought habits that will change the very dynamics of you entire spiritual and physical world.

Be Blessed Family!

Christmas - Giving Is A Blessing

Christmas brings a new life to the believers. Much before Christmas comes, the mood around the world changes. It is the anticipation of lovely days ahead of giving joy, meeting friends and family and feeling the spirit in the air that changes the most negative person to positive moods. Chistmas makes a person different. The same man, who you never see smiling, laughs during Christmas. That is the festive spirit of Christmas and that is why it is a lovely festival.

The most important part of Christmas is of course celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Another ritual of Christmas that makes it so special is giving. We send so many cards to friends and family that we lose the count. Similarly giving gifts is very important. Selecting the right gift for everyone, wrapping it lovingly and sending it across, all this is joyful. This joy cannot be described in words.

You should know, it is the giving that is the major reason of happiness. If you look at your moods and behavior, You"ll find that  you always derive greater joy in giving compared to receiving. You can give of your time or talents. You can even sow seeds of of mercy, love and peace. These gifts are sometimes intangible but can be felt in innumerable ways. You don't have to wait to celebrate this spirit of giving everyday? You can give anytime, and believe me when I tell you  that their is power in giving. With conscious effort, You can do one act a day that makes somebody genuinely happy. Why not carry the spirit of Christmas all the year and enjoy the happiness of giving. You are blessed when you give. When you give it comes back to you without a doubt.  I am a living witness to this simply from  giving information through this blog.

Be Blessed During This Season Family!

The Food of Abundance

It’s tempting when you’re struggling with money issues to think that this really is a cruel unfriendly world. There you are, working your socks off, and it’s all money out, out, out, leaving you constantly on the bread line while others around you seem to have anything and everything they want.

But just as the sun seems to move around the earth rather than the earth around the sun, that’s just an illusion. I’m going to show you that, despite your tight financial circumstances, you are infinitely richer than you think. And that, when you discover just how abundant your life is, your financial situation will dramatically change as well.

We tend to think that abundance, or wealth, or riches, or the flow of all good things, is confined to having money. Well, it isn’t. Here are six other kinds of abundance that are almost certainly available to you right now, without any investment or effort on your part. Once you focus on these areas of abundance, you will find that your AA, or “Abundance Attitude” will automatically trigger a corresponding reaction in the state of your finances and make you abundant financially as well.

1. Creative Abundance.

Even if you don’t have a nickel, penny or a yen to your name, you can still have a torrent of great ideas. For the truth of the matter is that, while God did not create money, (it’s purely a human concept), He did create a thought-based Universe. There are no limits to your thoughts. You can have as many as you want. You can make them as grand as you want. Your thoughts literally travel around the Universe and even, say some, through all time. Allow yourself to dream of what you can bring into this world and you’ll realize how abundant you really are. More to the point, all your money-spinning ideas come from your thoughts. It’s a huge, free and endlessly renewable resource. Use it.

2. Choice Abundance.

Unless you are reading this from a prison cell, you are a free person, with free will, and free choices about how to live your life. So, if your present circumstances are not what you want, all you have to do is change your choices for something else and you’ll get a different result. Choose another habit, another action, another way of working, another style, another task, another location, another venture. You have an abundance of choices in every moment of your life. Choose wisely.

3. Gifts Abundance.

Many people who remain poor in their lives do so because they don’t realize how gifted they really are. They are locked in to a victim mentality where any number of excuses are used to explain why they don’t have what they want. There’s the excuse of “I’m not good enough” or “I’m not wealthy enough” or “I’m not lucky enough” or any other similar phrase. The truth is that God has not singled out anyone to have more gifts than anyone else. We are all uniquely – and abundantly – gifted. Once you find out what your gifts are – through a process of experience, trial and error, feedback from others, and honest self-assessment – then you’ll find yourself in an Aladdin’s cave of treasure that will grant you endless wishes for the rest of your life. You are abundantly talented and you owe it to God who has gifted you these talents to find them and use them.

4. Health Abundance.

Even if you find yourself down on your luck financially, there’s no reason why you cannot bask in the glow of abundant health. One of the ironies of modern life is that many people are caught in the trap of working long hours in order to have enough money to buy the antidotes to the stressful and unhealthy lifestyle they lead. They work to excess so that they can buy the holidays they need to recover from their excessive working. The fact is, you were meant to live a healthy and abundant life, full of energy and vitality. It is your birthright. If you seek out how to live the abundantly healthy lifestyle you were meant to live, it may well be the financially wealthy who envy you!

5. Love Abundance.

The idea that we are all abundant in love may sound sentimental, but there is no getting away from the fact that, while your capacity to earn has limits – even for the super-wealthy – your capacity to love and be loved is without limits. When you uncork the Love stoppers in your life, you release such a flow of good things for yourself and others, that it’s like champagne all the way. Give and show love to those who are important to you. Love strangers rather than fearing or judging them. Love every creature you share this planet with. Love what you do each day. And most of all love yourself. Don’t be sentimental about it. Love is the most powerful force in the universe. And there are no limits to it if you’ll just let yourself do it.

6. Material Abundance.

Our modern age has brainwashed most people into believing that without money they are not materially rich. This is simply a clever marketing ploy aimed at making the perpetrators of the myth money-rich themselves. The truth is that God, who, you remember, didn’t invent money, created you to enjoy the fruits of the earth in abundance whether you have money or not. You simply don’t need a big house, a big yacht, a villa in Spain, a six-figure income, and four holidays a year to enjoy abundance. And the place to look? Well, it’s not in the man-made malls and supermarkets. It’s in nature. Wander through a wood in autumn and see the sheer abundance of food for free. Walk along a beach after a stormy sea to see what has been given you for free. Turn your small garden patch into a summertime larder. Look at the wonders of nature and you’ll never again believe that you must have lots of money to live happily and well.

7. And now for the key to your financial future.

When you focus on these six areas of super-abundance – your endless gift for creativity, your infinite range of life choices, your unique talents, your inalienable right to health, your unlimited capacity to love, and the cornucopia of the natural world – you cannot help but live a wonderfully abundant life. If you really believe that abundance and wealth is already yours, you will create the seventh abundance with astonishing ease. And money will flow into your life as if by magic.

Believe me, I can testify that it has happened to me.

THE CONCEPT OF POSITIVE THINKING

12/17/2012

Picture
In todays world, more and more people speak about the power of positive thinking. It is a concept that has a very high view of human nature and ability. Its advocates teach that the human mind has the power to turn wishes into reality through optimism. In other words The Power Of Positive thinking refers to the power of creating thoughts, which create and focus energy into reality. To bring into creation a positive outcome, which you see as a benefit to yourself or others.

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favourable results. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Whatever the mind expects, it finds. This is a powerful tool that everybody has, but a lot of people are not aware of it.

Positive thinking includes:
1. Our innate capability to produce desired outcomes with positive thoughts.
2. Having belief in possibilities even when the facts seem to indicate otherwise.
3. Making creative choices.
4. Meeting problems head on.

Concept of Positive Thinking Explained

Everything in the world of form is preceded by a thought. Thoughts are not in the world of form, form is not in the world of thought. But one actually precedes the other in all cases. If one wishes to affect form, one must work with cause, not effect. Thought is cause, form is effect. And when we work in the realm of thought, choosing a negative one or a positive one will influence the outcome.

Simply put, we live in a world of cause and effect i.e. for every cause there is an effect and every effect has to have a cause. Everything that happens in this world (form) is an effect, the cause being thoughts. These thoughts affect the whole universe. And each thought once generated and sent out becomes independent of the brain and mind and will live upon its own energy depending upon its intensity.

All of our feelings, beliefs and knowledge are based on our internal thoughts, both conscious and subconscious. We are in control, whether we know it or not. We can be positive or negative, enthusiastic or dull, active or passive. These attitudes are maintained by the inner conversations we constantly have with ourselves, both consciously and subconsciously.

Many greats have long held that we do, in fact, control our reality; not just the little things in life, but everything. We create our entire world by the way we think. Thoughts are the causes and conditions are the effects. Our circumstances and conditions are not dictated by the world outside; it is the world inside us that creates the outside. They have maintained that regardless of our circumstances, each person has the innate, Universe or God given ability to create or alter reality to our choosing. This is done by using the power of positive thinking. They say that we are not here to suffer or to live a life of misery but rather, each conflict or problem that we confront is merely an opportunity to express our higher selves, to evolve and to alter the circumstances to our liking. They claim that claim that  the errors we make or merely opportunities to grow.

These concepts on the power of the positive thinking, once restricted to the initiated few, but now have come into the light. The basic premise is that our past conditioning should be re-evaluated and that we should consciously determine the way in which we wish to live. We should use the power of positive thinking to create things (reality) which are good for us and for others. Remember that you are what you think about all day long!

Do I Need to Visualize to Manifest my Desires?

12/12/2012

By now, you've probably  heard people talk about Deliberate attraction. The Law of Attraction is a powerful force that is operating in every moment, including this moment right now. Knowing that we all offer a vibration (vibe) in every moment, and that The Law of Attraction matches that vibration and brings you more of the same vibration (whether wanted, or unwanted), it is important for you to understand the significance of becoming deliberate about what it is that you are vibrationally offering. The more you learn to apply The Law of Attraction to your life and tap into this powerful force, the more deliberate you learn to become an  attractor. This speeds up the manifestation of our desires. And that brings you to the topic of this article. Is visualization needed to manifest your desires?

Let's begin by reviewing the 3-step formula for Deliberate Attraction:

1) You should identify your desire (being as clear as I can).

2) You can raise your vibration (by giving your desire attention).

3) You allow  attraction (by reducing your resistance to receive your desire).

Often, you may say that you have already identified your desires and typically already made a huge list of what those desires are. You may have asked yourself, "How come the Law of Attraction didn't manifest my desire?"  You do this but have forgotten about your list and have  tucked away somewhere.

It is important to remember that the Law of Attraction is a 3-step process and not a 1-step process. The Law of Attraction states, "Whatever you give your attention, energy and focus to, you'll attract more of it, whether wanted or unwanted." After you have determined your desires, you need to give attention to those desires. This is why when you build a list, and then tuck it away, you never see the desires on that list manifest.

Know that, the deliberate use of The Law of Attraction through words are the common denominator that we all share. We speak, hum, sing, read, write, paint and process words in every moment of our day. All words carry a vibration for the person who says them or thinks them. There are, however, different ways to give attention to your desires. Some people like to use words, through writing, or talking with others about their desires. Other people like to visualize, or use art forms like making collages. It is true that all of these ways will give attention to your desires and help to raise your vibration. However, it is also true that not all of these methods or tools will feel good to everyone using them. So, how do YOU determine if a method is the right one for you to use? It's easy.

If it feels good, then use it. If it doesn't, then don't!

That's all there is to it. To insist that someone needs to visualize in order to manifest their desires, when visualizing is a frustrating endeavor for that person, is opposing the purpose of using the tool in the first place! While that person is visualizing, their frustration would be creating a negative vibration instead of increasing their positive vibration even higher. The same goes for any of the methods or tools I've suggested in practicing the Law of Attraction. Use them only if they feel good to you.

To summarize, ask yourself this question when checking to see if visualization or any other method or tool is right for you. Do I feel good as I am using this method or tool? Is this method or tool helping me to offer a positive vibration? If the answer is yes then be assured that it is an effective tool for you to keep on using as you continue to manifest your desires.

How To Go On, When The Going Gets Rough!

12/10/2012

has never been a more opportune time to follow your heart and realize your dreams. However getting to the pot of gold is not always easy. It takes dedication, commitment and the willingness to do whatever it takes.

So how do you go on when the going gets tough. When you have dug and toiled, day after day, week after week, and you experience all kinds of disappointments and frustrations.

When you have used the best scientific data, indicating the best locations to dig and are still not finding the rich deposit, which you know is there somewhere. Or when you have developed the best looking website, developed the best product and what you think is the best sales copy, and you still fail to make the sales that you know should follow?

Do you say it is not working and give up, like the gold prospector in Napoleon Hill's classic "think and grow rich", who stopped just 3 feet from his pot of gold?

What do you do when everything you know, doesn't seem to work?

The best thing to do is to take time out and become still. Yes, stop toiling for a while and make some quiet time, because it's no use just hammering away if you are hitting at the wrong place.

The quiet time will help you reflect on what you have done so far and gain some new perspective. Take a book that has inspired you countless times or the Bible and read.

Don't put pressure on yourself trying to find an answer, just let yourself go, any whichever way and the answers will come.

Take a piece of paper and just write. What about? Anything really. You can write about the confusion you feel.

Talk to yourself, not negative stuff that will make you feel worse then you already do, but tell yourself that you are getting the answers you are looking for. Don't talk as someone who is without hope but talk like someone who knows it's only a matter of time.

Most importantly though, listen to yourself, and then try again using some of the new insights you have gained from your inner person, your subconscious.

Sometimes, you're at the right place, you just need to go 3 feet further down or 3 feet to the left, or right. Or sometimes the time just isn't right and you just need to wait a little while longer.

But these are things no scientific data will ever tell you. This is something which comes from inside you, your subconscious mind which knows everything.

That is why it is important to take time out and listen, because if you don't you may just miss the key you need and waste an awful lot of time and money.

Here's something else you can do. Every time you feel discouraged or a little afraid, go and read about your icons or heroes. How they started out. How they felt, when they were still at the bottom, the things they said and did when it really got rough, and be inspired. If possible try and trace a childhood friend of your heroes and talk to them.

In his classic, "Think and Grow Rich" Napoleon Hill describes how his subjects held imaginary conversations with great men who went before them. The result was that afterwards they became more inspired.

Imagine having an intimate, one on one conversation with Bill Gates, Henry Ford, Fredrick Douglass, or Dr. Charles, Madame C.J. Walker or  Billie Holiday and asking them all the questions you've always wanted to ask them.

It would be awesome wouldn't it. When you come out of there you will be so focused on your goal that nothing anybody say will discourage you.

Something else you should do is to continuously remind yourself that everybody who is now successful, was once at the very place where you are now. The important thing is that they didn't remain there.

If you are serious about attaining your goals you will also not remain there. But remember, it requires commitment and dedication even through the tough times.

Oh, how sweet it is to hold that prize after all the struggling. That's when you realize all the trials and tribulations were worth it. But you will never savor that experience, you will never know how good it feels when you give up.

Finding Your Voice

"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening, that is translated through you into action." – Martha Graham

Have you ever tried to sing when you were sick. Most of you have, and you know that when you open your mouth to sing, your voice can get caught in your throat. The phlegm and irritation of a passing bronchial infection is evident. Your voice was is strained from several days of coughing. And the process of singing isn't much fun. The sound coming from your body didn't sound like you. You cleared your  throat a couple of times, but it was still rough.

Instead of pushing, you lessened the pressure on your throat and kept singing lightly, watching and waiting for your sound to show up. You breathed deeply, imagining the sound coming up from your center. Gradually, the sound smoothed out until you were singing with the connected sound you knew.

Standing there, experimenting with finding your voice, one time or another you have probably started thinking about the parallels between finding your singing or speaking voice and finding your symbolic or metaphorical voice.  Even if you don't sing, you more than likely was trying to find your voice in life, generally speaking.

The physical voice flows from a connection between breath and vocal chords. The metaphorical voice is a unique relationship between a person's values and vision and how they are expressed in action. When you "find your voice," You find a sense of purpose. You know what you are expressing and do it with much more ease.

When you lose your voice, you can find it again in ways similar to the process you use to regain your singing voice: Don't push it but understand that  obstacles are a signal to lessen the pressure, dig deeper, and reconnect with what is important.

Breathe deeply and speak from your  center. When you speak from your center, both your literal and figurative voices are strong, clear, and more easily heard.

Focus and  practice. When you find your voice, you will have found your heart. If your heart is their, then your treasure will be present.  Then your purpose wil become clear just like your voice.

Find the vitality, the life force, and the energy that is your voice. With practice, it will become powerful and effortless.

Change Means Action

Picture
"Progress is a nice word. But change is its motivator. And change has its enemies." - Robert Kennedy

Change does have enemies and Robert Kennedy knew that truth and paid for it with his blood. Change can be dangerous. That is why our natural instinct is to stay the course; stay put; avoid trying something new; leaving well enough alone; being safe; and I could mention another twenty or so excuses. If you are the type that wants to stay in your comfort zone, you will never experience the immense joy that comes from living. In order to succeed we must take risks and that means we have to change. Robert Kennedy said this in the context of politics. He referred to making progress as a nation. The only way to make progress as a nation is to change our point of view, to change the way we govern ourselves, to change certain laws that are unfair, and change the way we deal with the each other.

But his words can apply to any aspect of life, not just politics. In life, In order to  experience growth change is the one thing that is needed the most.  Most people,  go way out of their way just to avoid change. One of the keys to succes is change.  Whether you are trying to write a book, or create a new habit change is inevitable. We all need to train ourselves to be more open. But it goes further than that.

Change is an action word and that means we need to act if we are going to progress. Change is not a theoretical practice of the mind, it implies real physical movement. For example, we may say that we have changed our attitude towards someone, but unless that is followed up by an action towards that certain person, they are only shallow words. Change means to repent. Some, are instantly scared  away as soon as you say that because of the belief in religious overtones. Well you can apply this to religion if you like. All I am saying is when someone says to you to repent, it simply means to change what you are doing. Change requires 3 things. The first is to recognize the need to change. The second is you actually do the action that is required. The third is you maintain the new course of action. Those happen to be the same three things involved in repentance. They say that recognizing that you need to change is half the battle and that is so true in my experience. The changing part is actually a lot less difficult to do than the first part which again is recognizing that you need to change. The final part is easy. It just requires that you keep on doing the new action over and over again. The second part in the middle means you must turn around and do something different to prove that what you recognized as needed to be done will be done. Change is empowering no matter how small it is as long as it is positive. Today, why not give change a chance and perform an action that you know needs to be done in your life. You will be gratified and empowered when you do it!

The Harvest Is Yours, But You Must Plant It!

12/3/2012

Picture
It has often been said that grace and mercy come to us free of charge.  They produce good fruit and allow us to look at life through the glass of happiness.  Alternatively, there are times when we feel as though we are in seasons of fruitlessness.  With little to no obvious harvest, it is key to begin reflecting on life. This presents an opportunity to remove focus from the MESS we are in so that we may receive the MESSAGE we are being sent instead.

Though we know all that what glitters isn’t always gold, we continue to look for the shiny wrapper anyway.  We ponder about looking for just the right angle, just the right sign and avoid what we HOPE is the wrong direction.

* So what happens when the ugly, dirty, messy wrapped item shows up in your virtual gift basket?
*  Why do we immediately throw it away or laugh as though it is some kind of joke?
* What if the messy gift was the man a woman always prayed for but he’s a mechanic instead of a doctor?
* How about if the 5 bedroom home a man always wanted for his family was ready and waiting but needed $10 - $15,000 worth of work to be livable?
* What if the dream job you asked for was in some place like Siberia?
* How could anyone expect us to look at the ill wrapped, dirty, ugly things in life as gifts instead of burdens that will create more work for us during our season of fruitlessness?

It is all about perception.  Your gift will come but it is up to you to recognize it. Know that perception is quite often skewed by our emotional intelligence as it pertains to emotional maturity and overall willingness to adapt to informed realities.  And certainly, if our mind is not in alignment with our eyesight, everything we are meant to know can be lost in the translation.  The vision must be 20/20 in order for you to win 100/100!

The truth is there IS no season of fruitlessness. We simply need to understand the value of all fruit even if it seems to be dried up and useless. Many think of themselves as that dried fruit. These are the people who feel their season has long passed them by.  They lack the motivation for change because they feel their goals are either no longer relevant, obtainable or they are too late to bother chasing them.

Dreams, goals and desires are never meant to be given up on. They still exist whether you chase them or someone else does – whether you are stuck or moving full speed ahead.  To give them life, one could compare them to the dried seeds of a green pepper. For months they sit in seed packs shipping from here to there much like your life going to and fro with dry periods but still moving along. Eventually, those seeds make it to market and someone decides to plant them. They are planted in the soil, fertilized and watered. The dream to become a green pepper is now restored. You too can restore your dreams. Your soil needs to be re-fertilized; therefore, you must up your skill set. You need to get to market, so find the best place to market your new skills, abilities or product and build your brand.  You need water to grow. Pour on the charm, drive and love for yourself knowing that you are growing, changing and creating your own custom made harvest.

A goal or dream is only as good as the soil it starts in. Whether your soil is dry today or not, YOU are the good soil and from that it is time to plant your harvest.
